Mahabharata famous character

In this post you will read about famous Mahabharata character Sahadev, Barbarik, Karn, Krishna, Duryodhan, Ashwathama, Bhim, Ghatotwach, Sanjay.

Sahadev

Nakula and Sahadeva, two of the five Pandavas, were the sons of Madri-Ashwin Kumar. Sahadeva knew in advance every event that would happen in the future.

They knew that the Mahabharata was going to happen and who would beat whom and who would win. But Lord Krishna cursed him that if he tells people about this then he will die.How to get Shakti: Pandu, the godfather of Sahadeva, was very knowledgeable.

His last wish was to have his five sons eat his dead body so that the knowledge he has acquired goes to his sons! Only Sahadeva followed the father's will by showing courage. He ate three parts of the father's brain. By eating the first piece, Sahadev came to know history, by eating the second piece, he started seeing the present and the third piece, he started looking at the future. In this way, he became a trikala.

Barbarik

Barbarik was the best archer in the world. Three arrows were enough for Barbaric, on the strength of which they could destroy the entire army of Kauravas and Pandavas. On the battlefield, Bhima grandson Barbarik stood under a peepal tree at the midpoint of both camps and announced that I would fight from the side that was losing. Krishna became concerned with Barbaric's announcement.

When Arjuna and Lord Krishna appeared before Bhima's grandson Barbarik to see the miracle of his valor, Barbaric showed only a small sample of his bravery. Krishna said that this tree which pierces all its leaves with a single arrow, I will accept. Barbaric took the command and released the arrow towards the tree.

When the arrow was piercing all the leaves one by one, a leaf broke and fell down. Krishna hid him by placing his foot on that leaf thinking that it would avoid getting pierced, but the arrow piercing all the leaves stopped near Krishna's feet.

Then Barbaric said that the Lord has pressed a leaf under your foot, please remove the foot, because I have ordered the arrow to pierce only the leaves, not to pierce your leg.

Krishna got worried seeing this miracle. Lord Krishna knew that Barbarik pledged to support the loser. If the Kauravas are seen losing then the crisis will arise for the Pandavas and if the Pandavas are seen losing in front of Barbarik, then he will support the Pandavas. In this way, he will destroy the army on both sides with a single arrow.

Then Lord Krishna, disguised as a Brahmin, reached the gate of Barbarik's camp in the morning and started asking for donations. Barbarik said- Ask Brahmin! What do you need? Brahminlike Krishna said that you will not be able to give. But Barbarik gets caught in Krishna's trap and Krishna asks for her head.

Barbarik volunteered to glorify his grandfather, the Pandavas. Seeing this sacrifice of Barbarika, after donation, Shri Krishna gave the blessing of Barbarik to worship himself in Kali Yuga. Today Barbarika is worshiped as Khatu Shyam. The place where Krishna placed his head is named Khatu.

Sanjay

Everyone knows about Sanjay in the Mahabharata war. Sanjay's father was a weaver, so he was considered a cotton son. His father's name was Gavaligan. He took Brahmanism by taking initiation from Maharishi Ved Vyasa. He became a respected minister of Dhritarashtra's Rajya Sabha after studying Vedadi disciplines. From today's point of view, he was proficient in telepathic learning.

It is said that two people heard the teachings of Gita, one Arjun and the other Sanjay. Not only this, only these two people also saw the rare Vishwaroop and quadrilateral form for the gods.

Sanjay was famous for his candor. He used to give proper advice to Dhritarashtra. On one hand, while he was aware of Shakuni's wickedness, on the other hand, he used to inform Dhritarashtra about the intolerant behavior done by Duryodhana with Pandavas. He was also the messenger of Dhritarashtra.

Sanjay had divine vision, so he could see the entire scene of the battlefield sitting in the palace. The blind Dhritarashtra heard every part of the Mahabharata war from his voice. Vyas Muni gave Sanjay a divine vision to tell Dhritarashtra a live description of the war.

After the Mahabharata war, Sanjay stayed in Yudhishthira's kingdom for many years. After this, along with Dhritarashtra, Gandhari and Kunti, he also retired. Later, after Dhritarashtra's death, he moved to the Himalayas, from where he never returned.

Ashwathama

Ashwatthama, son of Guru Dronacharya, was expert in every discipline. If he wanted, he could have ended the war on the very first day, but Krishna never allowed this to happen. Krishna knew that a father-son duo together could end the war.

Science does not believe that a person can live for thousands of years. One can live for a maximum period of 150 years, on the condition that food and food are good. Then how can it be believed that Ashwatthama will be alive? But it is true that Ashwatthama is still alive today.

Why Ashwatthama is alive: In the Mahabharata war, Ashwatthama left Brahmastra, due to which millions of people were killed. Krishna was enraged by this act of Ashwatthama and he cursed Ashwatthama that 'You will carry the sin of so much slaughter and wander in secluded places for 3 thousand years. The foul smell of blood will always be released from your body. You will be suffering from many diseases. ' Vyasa approved the words of Shri Krishna.

It is said that Ashwatthama went to the desert area after this curse and started living there. Some believe that he went to Arabia. According to popular belief in Uttar Pradesh, after going to Arabia, he vowed to destroy the religion of Krishna and Pandavas.

Karn

If Karna had not captured the armor and coil, if Karna had not used his amogha weapon given by Indra to Ghatotkacha on Arjuna, then the history and religion of India would have been different.

Lord Krishna knew well that as long as Karna has his armor and coil, no one can kill him. In such a situation, there is no guarantee of Arjun's safety. On the other hand, Devraj Indra was also worried, because Arjun was his son. Both Lord Krishna and Devaraja Indra knew that as long as Karna had natural armor and coil, he would be invincible in battle.

Then Krishna told Devaraja Indra as a remedy and then Devaraja Indra disguised as a Brahmin reached the door of Karna. Devraj also stood in line with everyone. Karna was giving some donation to everyone. Later, when Devraj's number came, Dani Karna asked- Viprawar, please obey! What is the desire for something?

Indra became vip said, "O Maharaj! I have come from far and wide to hear your fame. It is said that a donor like you is nobody else on this earth. So I have no hope that you will give me my desired thing, but still there is no doubt in your mind, so only then you make a resolution, then I will ask you otherwise you go empty handed?

Then in the guise of Brahmin, Indra said even more politely - No - no Rajan! We do not wish for your life. Just when we get what we want, then we get peace. First, if you pledge, then only I ask for your donation?

Karna came in a trance and took water in his hand and said - We pledge! Now ask immediately. Then Ksadra Indra said- Rajan! We need your body armor and coil as a donation. There was silence for a moment. Karna glanced into Indra's eyes and then Danveer Karna, without losing a moment, separated his armor and coil from his body with the help of a dagger and handed it to the Brahmin.

Indra immediately ran from there and ran away on a chariot standing away. Therefore, Karna does not change after he has forgotten his reign. After going a few miles, Indra's chariot descended and fell into the ground.

Then there was Akashvani, Devraj Indra, you have committed a great sin. To save the life of your son Arjun, you have fraudulently put Karna's life in danger. Now this chariot will be sunk here and you will also fall here.

Indra then asked Akashvani, what is the way to avoid this? Then Akashvani said, now you have to give something of equal value in exchange for the donated item. He accepted what Indra would do. Then they again went to Karna. But this time not disguised as a Brahmin. Karna saw them coming and said - Devraj order what else?

Indra blushed and said, O Danveer Karna, I am no longer a petitioner but want to give you something. Except the armor-coil, ask for whatever you want. Karna said- Devraj, till date I have never sought anything from anyone nor do I want anything. Karna knows only to give donations, not to take.

Then Indra politely said- Maharaj Karna, you have to ask for something otherwise my chariot and I cannot leave from here. If you ask for something, I will be very pleased. I am ready to give whatever you ask for. Karna said- Devraj, no matter how much you try, but I only know to donate, not take. I have never taken any donation in my life.

Then helpless Indra said- I am going to give you this power of thunderbolt in return. Whomever you drive over it will not survive. Even if you run over the interview time, but you will be able to use it only once.

Even before Karna said something, Devaraja ran away immediately by keeping the Vajra power there. He did not stop even after giving voice to Karna. Later Karna was forced to keep that Vajra power with him. But as soon as Duryodhana came to know that Karna had donated his armor and coil, Duryodhana was dizzy. He began to lose the kingdom of Hastinapur by hand. But when he heard that he got Vajra power in his place, he came back to life again.

Now this too cannot be considered as Karna's fault. This was his helplessness. But he made a mistake here that he would have asked for something from Indra. The mistake of not asking is a mistake. Hey, Vajra would have expressed the desire to use Shakti thrice.

Bhim

The sons of Kunti-Vayu were Bhima i.e. Pawanputra Bhima. Bhima had the strength of a thousand elephants. In the war, his son Ghatotkacha was more powerful than Bhima. Ghatotkacha's son was Barbarik.

He once stopped the flow of the Narmada River with his arms. In war, his son was more powerful than Bhima. But where and how did this thousand elephant elephant come from Bhima?

It is known that Gandhari's elder son Duryodhana and Gandhari's brother Shakuni devised new plans to kill Kunti's sons. Under this plan, once the evil Duryodhana cheated Bhima by poisoning him and threw him into the Ganges river. Bhima in the unconscious state reached the folk of the flowing serpents. The poisonous serpents stalked him a lot, due to which the poison of Bhima's body started to decrease, that is, poison was bitten by poison.

When Bhima's idol broke, he started killing the serpents. This news reached Nagraj Vasuki, then he himself came to Bhima. Vasuki's partner Aryak Nag recognized Bhima. Aryak Nag was the maternal grandfather of Bhima. Bhima tells him the story of deceit in his Ganges. Hearing this, Aryak Nag gave the juice of the kundas that gave Bhima the strength of thousands of elephants, which made Bhima even more powerful.

Ghatotwach

It is believed that the Bhima son Ghatotkacha was so huge that he used to kick and throw the chariot back several feet and the soldiers would crush it under his feet. Ghatotkacha was born to Bhima's asura wife Hidimba.

At birth, he did not have hair (utkach) on his head, so he was named Ghat-Elephant's head + Utkach = Hairless means Ghatotkacha. Due to its forehead like elephant's head and hairless, it became famous as Ghatotkacha. He turned very elusive and grew up as soon as he was born. While there was physical force in him, he was also elusive.

Since Ghatotkacha's mother was a demon, the father was a heroic Kshatriya, so it had mixed qualities of both humans and demons. He was very cruel and cruel.

During the Mahabharata war, it created an outcry. Karna was fighting the Kauravas' side as a general. Karna had such power given by Indra with which he could kill any mighty warrior from any mighty. That power could never go empty.

Karna wanted to kill Arjuna with this power. Shri Krishna knew this, that is why he brought Ghatotkacha to the battlefield. This demon started showering fire and many types of weapons from the sky, which caused a ruckus in the Kaurava army. Duryodhana panics and asks Karna to kill it.

Karna was also terrified of this. He saw with his own eyes that in this way the entire Kaurava army would be destroyed in a short time, then, being helpless, he used that immense power on Ghatotkacha. Thus Ghatotkacha fell lifeless within a moment. The Pandavas were saddened by his death, but Shrikrishna explained all the tricks to them and made them satisfied.

Bhishm Pitamah

Shantanu-Ganga's son Bhishma's name was Devavrata. He had the boon of euthanasia.

When news of Bhishma lying on his chest, there is an outcry in the army of Kauravas. Soldiers and commanders of both the parties leave the battle and gather near Bhishma. From the kings of both the parties, Bhishma says Rajnigyan. My head is hanging down. I want a suitable pillow. On one of his orders, all the kings and warriors bring valuable and various pillows.

But Bhishma does not take one of them and smiles and says that these pillows are not suitable for the use of this heroic bed. Then they look at Arjuna and say, 'Son, you are scholars of Kshatriya religion. Can you give me a suitable pillow? ' As soon as he got the order, Arjuna, with tears in his eyes, greeted Bhishma with 3 arrows very fast, which pierced his forehead and went into the earth. Just, this is how the head gets the head. After getting the basis of these arrows, the pain of hanging the head continued.

Duryodhan

Duryodhana's body was as rigid as a vajra, which could not be pierced with a bow or any other weapon. But due to the natural appearance of his thigh, Bhima had struck his thigh and tore two of his body.

This Vajra-like body of Duryodhana was created due to seeing his mother Gandhari. Mata asked him to come completely naked in front of him, but due to Krishna turning his head, he went to Mata by hiding his genitals. So that part of them was left weak.

Krishna

Heavy Krishna Murari on everything. Lord Krishna was an expert in the saulah arts. The more human they were, the more human they were. His mystical personality was also able to understand great yoga and asceticism.

On the one hand, they feed the feet of their poor friend Sudama and on the other hand they also kill their aunt's son Shishupala.

The greatest example of his mysterious personality is that Arjuna took the oath of slaying Jayadradha before sunset and said that if I could not kill him before sunset, I would lie down on the fire. Krishna also encouraged Arjuna, because Krishna knew that there is a solar eclipse today and the sun will not be visible for a while.

This is what happened when Arjuna prepared the pyre, then Jayadratha also came to see it and immediately the sun came out at the same time. At the behest of Krishna, Arjuna separated Jayadratha's head in an instant.

It is unfair to consider Krishna as God, but there is no God equivalent to him on this earth, that is why he has been called a complete incarnation.

Krishna is the Guru and Sakha. Krishna is the only god but no other god. Krishna is a complete statement of politics, religion, philosophy and yoga.

Knowing and worshiping Krishna is the path of devotion to Hindutva. Devotion to others leads only to the path of confusion, disorientation and decisionlessness. Bhajgovindam Mudhamate
